Last updated: 29 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Tazuz collects through our website and the Tazuz App (members.tazuzsports.com), why we collect it, who can access it, and your rights. The database controller is Tazuz, ח.פ 345814503, Bugrashov 66, Tel Aviv, Israel. For any privacy matter, write to master@tazuzsports.com.

1. Information We Collect

  • Account details: full name, email, WhatsApp number, Instagram username, date of birth, country of birth, ID/passport number, status in Israel (and aliyah date, if applicable), and your password (stored only in hashed form, which cannot be reversed) or Google sign-in.
  • Profile photo and health insurance document: a photo to identify you at activities, and a document showing that you have personal health insurance in Israel. We only use it as proof of coverage and do not ask for any medical information.
  • Parental authorization: for participants aged 17, the authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Registrations and activity history: the activities, courses, leagues, teams and tournaments you register for, your teammates or partner, and promo codes used.
  • Payments: amount, product, date and the payment confirmation details we receive from our payment provider, which may include the card type and the last digits of your card. We do not receive or store your full card number.
  • University students: university, field of study, year and proof of student status.
  • Communications: messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.

2. Is Providing the Information Mandatory?

You are not legally required to provide this information. However, the account details and documents listed above are required to create an account and register for activities. Without them, we cannot provide our services.

3. Why We Use Your Information

  • To identify participants at registration and at activities.
  • To confirm that you are eligible to take part in sports activities: your age, your personal health insurance coverage and your acceptance of the Health Statement.
  • To create and manage your account and keep your activity history.
  • To register you for activities and manage courses, teams, leagues and tournaments, including spots, schedules and team rosters.
  • To keep a record of payments, refunds and credit notes, and to comply with accounting and tax obligations.
  • To contact you about your registrations and activities.
  • To send you information about activities you may like, if you agreed to receive it and have not unsubscribed.
  • To verify student status for university activities.
  • To protect the safety of participants, prevent fraud and misuse of our platforms, and comply with the law.

4. Who Can Access Your Information

Your profile photo, your health insurance document and the rest of your personal information are accessible only to authorized members of the Tazuz organization, its direct collaborators (staff) and its representatives, through Tazuz's management systems and Tazuz's own Google accounts. Access is granted to named accounts only, and in our management app each staff member sees only the information their role requires.

We train our staff in the use of our platforms and in the confidentiality of personal information, and they are committed to keeping it confidential.

Other participants only see what is needed to register together. For example, when someone enters your email to register you as their partner, they see your name to confirm it is you.

We do not sell your information.

5. External Service Providers

We use the following providers to operate our services. They process information on our behalf, under their own security and data protection terms:

  • Google LLC: data storage, documents, email and sign-in with Google (Google Workspace).
  • Vercel Inc.: hosting of the Tazuz App.
  • Wix.com Ltd.: hosting of our website.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS): sending of newsletters and promotional emails.
  • PayMe Ltd.: processing of online payments. PayMe receives your payment details directly and handles them under its own privacy policy: payme.io/privacy.
  • Meta Platforms (WhatsApp): messaging with participants.
  • Activity providers and venues: only the information needed to run the activity, such as participant names.

We may also disclose information to authorities when required by law.

6. Storage Outside Israel

Your information is stored on Google servers located outside Israel. Some of our other providers may also process information outside Israel, for example in the United States or the European Union. These providers apply security and data protection standards in line with international practice.

7. Security

We protect your information with reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections, restricted access for authorized staff only, secure authentication and server-side verification of every request that reads or changes your personal information. No system connected to the internet is completely secure. Tazuz will not be liable for unauthorized access to or disclosure of information resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including attacks on or failures of third-party providers, or from the loss or misuse of your own password or devices, to the fullest extent permitted by law. If a security incident affects your information, we will act as required by law.

8. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information while your account is active and for up to three (3) years after your last activity. Payment and accounting records are kept for seven (7) years, as required by law.

When an account is deleted, whether at your request or at the end of this period, we delete your photo, your documents and the rest of your personal information. We keep only your first name, last name and email address in a separate record, so that we can recognize you if you contact us again and respect any request not to be contacted.

9. Communications and Unsubscribe

We send you messages about your registrations and activities, including reminders to complete your registration. If you agreed to receive it, we may also send you information about activities you may like. Every promotional email includes an "unsubscribe" link or clear instructions to stop receiving them. Unsubscribing stops promotional messages; essential messages about registrations you have made, such as confirmations, schedule changes and payments, may still be sent.

10. Your Rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, you may ask to review the information we hold about you, and to correct or delete information that is incorrect, incomplete or out of date. You may also ask us to close your account and delete your information, except for records we must keep by law. Write to master@tazuzsports.com and we will respond within 30 days.

11. Minors

Our services are intended for people aged 18 or older. Participants aged 17 may register only with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger than 17. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger than 17, we will close it and delete its information.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version and its date will always be published on this page.
